STRESSKIN PANELS

What are Stresskin Panels or SIPs?

DSC03194A thick panel is created by sandwiching polyurethane insulation between two sheets of oriented strand board (OSB) and, in some cases, one of these layers is drywall.

This results in a structural insulated panel (SIP) that can be fastened directly to the exterior of the Timberframe frame in a home or over the rafters/purlins on the roof.

The result is a perfectly sealed insulation system that outperforms any other wall system and can be installed quickly with an experienced crew.
